Private Residence

This remodel of a three bedroom, two and a half bath townhome in South Charlotte was one of my favorites. It was a bachelor pad when we started its makeover! White walls, brass light fixtures and hardware throughout, along with outdated appliances in the kitchen. So we created a plan to have a warm but neutral color scheme add life and definition to the walls; it really helped to enhance the great trim work throughout the home’s interior. Second step was to select new fixtures and hardware to replace the brass that existed. Once those items were installed it began to take shape; then it was onto the kitchen. All of the white appliances were replaced with more streamlined, stainless steel appliances that helped to open the space and allow for easier clean-up. Along with the appliances came the granite countertop, the old laminate was dark and dated, therefore by removing the countertop, we were able to open the space even more by installing a lighter, warmer granite as the new work surface. The original cabinets remained but received a good cleaning to help brighten them and appear new again. In each of the bathrooms, the plate glass mirrors were removed and new framed mirrors were installed. This helps customize without going overboard on style and budget. A new dining room table finished out this portion of the remodel; we have continued to help the owner update their home each month by adding something new to the mix!

Great photos. I love the masculine look of the after pictures. It is like a modern decor but not to over the top. Very nice colors chosen!! I can’t wait for Bobbie to come and get started in my home. I’m so excited!! My pictures are coming soon!
